In the 6th Squad

[Toshiro]

"That's offensive, Hikaru." Toshiro warned in a hushed whisper, teasingly, his light eyes still closed. He opened them to look over at the pretty young girl, a confused look drew upon his face. He gaped at her, then glanced over warily at Kasumi. He straightened himself up and smoothed out some wrinkles in his clothes from his previous position. "Hello," Toshiro leaned back against the wall, but slightly closer to Hikaru than before. "I am Toshiro Hitsugaya, 10th squad Captain."

[Hikaru [Byakuya]]

The young shinigami girl could not help but blush, she smiled softly. Then Toshiro spoke out to Kasumi, she could feel the unease in the air. Hikaru shifted in worry, her darkened eyes darted from Toshiro to Kasumi. Things were already awkward and now it felt weird, very very weird. "Toshiro, this is Kasumi. She's the newest 6th squad member..." Hikaru chipped in, trying to lightened the devestatingly uneasy mood. Hikaru tried not to notice his shift closer and wondered if he knew he had done it, she looked over Kasumi again, another pleading look filling her dark eyes. She guessed Kasumi wouldn't say anything, but she just wanted to make absolute sure.

[kasumi]

Kasumi smiled, "Nice to meet you Captain Toshiro." She could feel the uneasiness in the air. She looked towards Hikaru who looked back with pleading eyes. Kasumi really didn't know what she could do or say to break the awkward atmosphere. "So..."she started, "Does any one have an interesting story to share?" That was all she could think of to try to lighten the mood.

[Toshiro]

Toshiro blinked and his eyebrow twitched. "Captain Hitsugaya..." He said angrily. "It's Captain Hitsugaya." Toshiro glared and crossed his arms, leaning further back against the wall. "And I'm not sure about the story thing, I'm not one for tales of great adventure." He said, looking at Kasumi.

[Hikaru [Byakuya]]

Hikaru giggled and nudged Toshiro gently. "You're ego is out of the soul society, ignore him Kas. He likes to feel superior!" Hikaru knew all to well of Toshiro's name sensitivity, she wondered why he let her call him 'Shiro-kun.' She looked up and studied his hard face, darkened eyes darting over his features. He was about two heads taller than her, but she was short. Very short, so he was too. Kasumi was tall, Byakuya was tall. Well hell, everyone was tall compared to her. She blinked slowly as a wind started up slowly, sending her hair into a flurry around her. Hikaru sighed, all of her hair had somehow pulled from the bun, like it normally did.

[kasumi]

"Oh, my bad." Kasumi guessed that she had probably found Captain Hitsugaya's weak spot. She took note to never to call him by his first name and turned towards Hikaru. Kasumi laughed at Hikaru's statement.

[Hikaru [Byakuya]]

Hikaru giggled lightly. "Don't apologize! He's a bit over sensitive!" She said nudging him again with her elbow. She looked over at Kasumi and couldn't help but grin, her hair fluttered down to her lower back as the wind stopped. "Finally, I hate the wind." Hikaru said with a mellow-dramatic groan.

[Toshiro]

Toshiro watched Hikaru affectionantly; her laugh made him weak as she kept on going on about his sensitiveness. He smiled as she nudged him for the second time, green eyes glowing with warmth. "Okay, now Hikaru. We get it." He said with a grin, running his hand through his whitened hair.

[kasumi]

Kasumi looked from Captain Hitsugaya to Hikaru. She knew that Hikaru had a crush on the captain but did he like her too? She wasn't sure but she wasn't going to butt in to their personal lives. She laughed to herself.

[Hikaru [Byakuya]]

Hikaru blinked and looked at Kasumi, pushed her red hair away she laughed a bit. "What?" She asked her brown eyes glittering softly as she looked from Toshiro to Kasumi, what was so funny? She met Toshiro's gaze and flushed, but not before she smiled and looked down. Hikaru fiddled with the handle of her Zanpakuto, this was getting more and more awkward.

[kasumi]

Kasumi shook her head in response. "Oh nothing, nothing at all Hikaru." She smiled slightly as she saw Hikaru flush when she looked at Captain Hitsugaya. She pushed a few loose strands of her black hair behind her ear and looked towards the two standing before her. "They would make a cute couple." she thought to herself.

[Hikaru [Byakuya]]

Hikaru blinked, then laughed lightly. "Well then," She looked around. "Who's hungry?" She was trying to lighten the mood, and failing horribley, or so she thought. Her brown eyes locked on somthing far away, from where she was standing she could easily see the nobles house, and she was watching Byakuya walk around. 'Aimlessly with grace.' She thought, stifiling a giggle.
